Sharan (aka Dr. Derk Jongsma) was a very well known local in Byron Bay NSW Australia and a Tibetan Pulsing Healer. He read eyes at a café in the main street for ten years and gave bodywork and healing sessions in Byron and all major cities in Australia.
From the beginning of 2000 AD he worked on the Earth · Cosmos · Us calendar to create a tool for people to become aware and track that the Earth is tuning our nervous systems. He trained with Dheeraj and friends in Poona, India and participated in all New Mind Waves except the Temple.
In the previous part of this life, Derk worked as an Earth Scientist and was Associate Professor in Plate Tectonics at the Free University in Amsterdam, Holland. He obtained a doctorate in Marine Geophysics from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of NSW, Australia.
He entered his body in Holland on 17th May 1945 and migrated with the rest of his family of eleven to Australia at the age of fifteen. He worked as a storeman and shop assistant with Woolworth while doing his matriculation at nightschool.
He spent much of his life enjoying watching whales, reading science fiction and tantric meditation.
He left his body 5th November 2023 at age 78 in Holland House Hospice, Canberra ACT Australia.
He is dearly missed.
